What a complete disaster for Americans credibility and geopolitical future.

The audio leak of Steve Witkoff advising the Russian side what to do, what to say and how to progress is nothing more but collaboration with Moscow, probably even more. It further confirms what I was writing on Sunday when the US Senators were actively rejected this.

He should, but not with the sycophants and Russian shills this administration has put in place, with the Republican Senate’s blessing, to run the government. Unless the Republican lawmakers find their spines quickly, this will only continue. Trump is already planning to send Witkoff back to Russia!

He’s the one who appointed Witkoff and Kushner to negotiate, and he went with their plan.

My opinion is that #Russia does not take this initiative seriously, because they keep saying that this should happen "after a ceasefire".

As long as Russia rejects a ceasefire, they have in practice veto power over this European initiative.

Dear @whitehouse-47.bsky.social, please remove staffers like Driscoll who are incompetent.

There are no experts who believe Ukraine is facing "imminent collapse", or who believe Russia can fight "indefinitly". This is Russian propaganda.

Please try to resolve the conflict instead of escalating it.
In a meeting with Ukrainian officials in Kyiv last week, U.S. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll delivered a grim assessment: their troops face a dire situation on the battlefield and will suffer an imminent defeat against Russian forces, who can "fight on indefinitely." www.nbcnews.com/politics/whi...

True. If I had to bet money, the cash is on no deal.
Russia's war aim is to kill Ukrainian sovereignty, the one thing Ukraine cannot compromise on.

That's why I think this must be solved by military means.
No shade on the journalists breaking their backs to cover every twist in the Russia–Ukraine diplomacy chaos, but I’m starting to think we might be better off ignoring it entirely until something actually happens.

I think Zelenskyj potentially can "agree" to almost anything (he will not, oc), bc Putin will never meet him in person.

Putins narrative is in essens that Ukraine is not a real country, that Ukrainians does not exist. They are just russians "mislead" by the West.

The Trump administration has not truly sought peace in Ukraine yet.

The fact that it hasn’t pressured Russia, the invader, demonstrates that.
