I’ve been wanting to rebrand for a bit now, and I finally got the courage to do it.

I wanted a name that felt true to me. Connecting to the magical, whimsy and witchcraft part of me. And connecting to my Costa Rican heritage.

Hello my even sweeter FaerieAbuelita.

I have been thinking about rebranding from Cassidot from quite some time now. Fear of change has kept me from doing it and also figuring out what feels right takes some time as well. But, after a good long think, FaerieAbuelita feels true to me.

I am definitely a little sad to part from Cassidot, but not in a negative way. The past 4 years under this name holds so many memories. Good and tough. But the part I will remember the most is the community we have built together. If Cassidot holds one thing, it will hold the community.

Not that the community is leaving by any means. Now we will continue to grow in a more true, authentic way. Over the past couple months I have been reigniting magic and witchcraft into my life, as well as connecting to my Costa Rican heritage. So I wanted a name that connected to both those parts of me.

I can not wait for this new chapter and to see what magic and spells we find as a little Faerie Abuelita.

not to be emotional online but i’ve had a really hard time being just happy. I feel like i’m struggling to find joy and when I have days off of work, I really struggle w doing hobbies or anything really. I just feel so far away from myself really and my anxiety is up up up

It’s release day for What Stalks the Deep by T. Kingfisher and I ran to the bookstore. but now that I have it, i’m scared to read it because it’s the last book in the series.

I read 2 pages and I had to stop. i’m so scaredAAH
