I feel as intellectuals, scholar, those well read, or academics…as well as those well versed in emotional intelligence we should def be demonstrative of putting ego aside and the ability to be able to acknowledge wrong/misstep in a part even if other areas were on the mark.

Sometimes even academics and intellectuals get caught up in the ego as well. Honestly in this situation what he was saying was correct but using that newly wed couple and some of the words attached to their image, it takes nothing to say “yes I could’ve separated them”
