It’s crazy that in 2025 some folks still don’t know that followers & awards don’t necessarily mean you’re rich or making lots of money.
ESPECIALLY in the current economical situation.

Most of us artists put so much work into our careers and just get enough to get by, or slightly more, or much less.

You guys overestimate followers and awards. My Patreon makes €140 bucks a month (I had it for 5 years) and my print store makes like €500 a year. That’s not enough to live.

Of course there WILL be people who pull it off. There always is. This is the same argument. It’s the 0.00001% who do.
