Playing DBZ Kakarot after I lost save data five years ago.
I was hoping for more with the Bardock DLC. It was mostly based on the special from Z. It could have had so much more. I wanted to see Gine, not there. Could've had token appearances of baby Broly, Paragus, Raditz, Tarble maybe even Beerus.

The blu-ray has been out of print for a little while now. What are people supposed to do? Even if you buy a lot of blu-rays, you can't buy everything that you might want to watch.

My take on "is Goku an undocumented immigrant?"
YES in the Jaco the Galactic Patrolman spinoff, we see Jaco was sent to earth to get rid of Goku.
BUT Goku still grew up to join the Galactic Patrol, in the Galactic Prisoner arc that recently announced it will be animated.

The 4K remaster of Project A-ko is quite impressive! I've seen it twice before on streaming platforms (admittedly on a small bad TV) and felt like I hadn't watched it before. Good work @discotekmedia.bsky.social

I want to support the industry but if what I want is unavailable, unlikely to get back in print anytime soon if ever, and I have to pay an obscene amount for an old used copy that only benefits the second-hand market what is there to do?

Watching old anime isn't just good for its own sake, it helps you appreciate where newer stuff is coming from as well. I rewatched Promare recently and saw Go Nagai's influence all over it, something I didn't and wouldn't have noticed when it came out in 2019.

Yeesh. It's been years since I logged into Academia.edu and it's totally ruined by AI. Can't just enter a search query and look through papers on the tiopic, you have to ask it a question and then the AI will supply abstracts and analyses of several papers before you can even click through. Garbage.
