Whilst I love summer, summer does not love me back. But, if it's not hayfever, it's a common cold, and I much rather be warm and struggling than cold and struggling.

Vindolanda, roman fort. Within the Principia, the treasury was closed by stone slabs topped by iron bars. The guide tells us how the soldiers have worn grooves on the lip of the stone by putting their arm through waiting for the pay. All I could think was:
