I'll have to read Babel at some point. There are just SO MANY BOOKS!!
WTF Walmart?!?!? My screen shot from an hour ago.
Crying over the semifinal of British Baking, and I already know who will win it all. Such a lovely show, lovely bakers.
About to start Katabasis by R.F. Kuang. Not my normal genre but I liked her book Yellowface.
They'll literally do ANYTHING but reinstate DEI policies. So I'll literally shop ANYWHERE else.
Unexpected day off today (no power at the library!) Looks like a good day to read.
Nothing cheers me up quite like watching people launch down the cop slide in #Boston.
Such a man of the people. /s
"I don't want to hear about affordability."

Says the president who promised to lower costs on Day 1.

60% of households are unable to afford the basics — and he just doesn’t care.
Thanks for the insane laugh I made seeing this!
Always scary when F1 doesn't immediately show a crash bc they are waiting to make sure driver is ok. That was a brutal crash for Gabi. #f1

So glad you are still here! Enjoy that cheesecake!!! 💕
My first shot made me SO SICK but the second was a breeze. Zero side effects. Hope you are ok!
I have the same goal but have a little ways to go! Nice job!
A jewelry heist? Anyone seen this guy recently?
It's really worth fighting through (if that's the book). There's a reason it's so hard to read. And boy does it seem scarily prophetic now though I hope I'm wrong.
Is it Prophet Song? Try the audio. It's worth it though it's a gut punch.

CEO pay is up 1,094% since 1978, while worker pay is up just 26%.

Why do we always hear "we can't afford to pay our workers more" but never "we can't afford to pay our CEO more"?
Just checked in with my friend in Portland. He's in a war zone that just so happens to be the cutest bungalow on a quiet street.
Going to try to read the Booker shortlist (except for one that isn't in US yet)...currently reading Audition and just started Flashlight. Any recos for which one to read as an audiobook? #booksky #bookerprize
