I have ACTORS ARE WIZARDS moments with just about everyone, but hearing June go from their speaking voice (polite, nice, light) to Aldous (gruff, eternally pissed off, kind of scary) in a breath was.............. dizzying. It's great.

It was /exceedingly difficult/ not to yell about all of them, all the time.

I managed it, mostly, but I've learned that no matter how deeply I want to get into unreality, alternate realities, and the blurred lines between the real wold and fiction, I need to be able to praise my actors by name.

In starting work on this project, I knew I wanted to frame it as a real thing that was really, actually happening. But that meant that I would be asking actors to delay their well-deserved credit till the end of the season.

I think that may have ended up being harder on me than them.
