I’m a fake macaw in a real world, and I make #art with inks for fun. I mostly draw sci-fi and melancholic pieces.

In the distant future, humanity has expanded throughout the solar system after exhausting all of Earth’s resources. Few people remain on Earth, which is now a desert planet and a sort of Wild West. Most of what remains of humanity on Earth has organized themselves into small communities, but a select few roam the earth alone. Data Divers are one such type of person, so called due to past generations of Divers wearing suits reminiscent of old world scuba gear, along with the fact that they “dive” into computers. With an aptitude for using a Dive implant that lets them enter into old-world cyberspace via access points, Divers roam the planet to find any data they can, either to sell to the megacorporations or black market, or keep for themselves for personal gain. However, this implant has the effect of suppressing the wearer’s memories as a precaution to what are known as “memory leaks,” events where one’s memories enter the simulation and the wearer begins to lose grasp on reality. Divers know the risks and almost never question their own suppressed identities, focusing on their job instead. F# is one such Data Diver. Much is not known about her, not even her real name (as is the case with all Divers), except for the fact that she has been Diving for a few years. She is cold and efficient at her job, but tends to keep people at arms length as most Divers do. Besides, the ones who try to team up tend to have ulterior motives…

Nobody cares if the output is aesthetically pleasing, because the process, the act itself, the limitation of a single human mind and the resulting creations that capture that one single inimitable human experience... is what makes a creation worth paying attention
