I use a paper towel to blot the water from my brushes while I'm painting, as 0 and 000 brushes dry out quickly and need to be re-moistened. At the end of the project the paper towel is almost a timeline. The larger watery blots are larger brushes.
"Cooking should be accessible" is what I think when I hear that.
Does someone watch a video on the 'best sushi/steak/whatever restaurant in the world' and turn around and think "cooking is not something I could ever do"?
hollow knight silksong is a great game to give to your girlfriend. it's not that difficult and all the cute art will trick her into thinking it's a good video game. core gamers can take a pass on it, though. we give it 3... out of 5.

I really like that they seem to be "mini-painting inspired," having things like edge highlighting on the corners of plates and around the battle damage. It's a nice abstraction, rather than being 100% realistic.
