𝑯𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚 𝑩𝒊𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒅𝒂𝒚, 𝑨𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒆! 🎂

The littlest Hazelwood is all grown up, and there are no more babies on the ranch 😭 I think she looks so much like Austin!

This is the last update from me for a couple of weeks, but @alluringsims.bsky.social has something very exciting coming soon, so keep an eye out 👀

Annie’s eyes grew wide. She got to keep secrets with Autumn and Austin now? “Act surprised. Got it.”

“You better,” Autumn warned, secretly thrilled that she had another partner in crime. “C’mon, let’s get breakfast. Dad’s in a really good mood, he’s makin’ pancakes.”

“Weird.”

“I know.”
fallincloversims.bsky.social
“Do you think I’ll get some cool presents?”

“Yeah, maybe.”

“I wonder what Dad’s surprise is–”

“It’s a treehouse.”

“A 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦?!”

“Uh-huh. Me an’ Aussie snuck out this mornin' while Mom and Dad were still sleepin’ to take a look. You gotta act surprised though, ‘kay? That’s what big girls do.”
fallincloversims.bsky.social
“I’m nearly as old as you an’ Aussie! M’not the little sister anymore!”

“It don’t work like that!” Autumn snickered, rolling her eyes. “You’ll always be the littlest.”

“But that’s not fair! I’m a big girl now!”

“That’s jus’ how it is,” she said, in her wisest, most grown-up older sister voice.

Autumn tilted her head curiously. “Hmm,” she pondered, squinting at her sister. “You do look taller. Did you grow, or somethin’?”

“Am I as tall as you?”

“Never gonna happen,” Autumn scoffed.

“It might!”

“It won’t.”

“Wha–” Annie gasped, startled from her slumber. “Tummy, why?!” she grumbled.

“𝙃𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙗𝙞𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙙𝙖𝙮!” Autumn screeched, bouncing up and down on the bed, shaking any remaining sleep out of her younger sibling. “D’you feel any different?”

“I feel…” 𝘛𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘥. 𝘋𝘢𝘻𝘦𝘥. “Taller,” she declared, nodding decisively.

She 𝘩𝘢𝘥 promised to wake her sister, but there hadn’t been any mention of 𝘩𝘰𝘸 to do so.

With a wicked grin, she got a running start and launched herself into the air, crash landing straight onto Annie’s tiny, sleeping form.

“𝙒𝘼𝙆𝙀 𝙐𝙋, 𝙉𝘼𝙃𝙉𝘼𝙃!”

Autumn finally relented after making Austin promise to give her his slice of birthday cake, as well as shotgun privileges on the ride to school for an entire week.
There, in the room they shared, Annie lay sound asleep, snoring softly and blissfully unaware that her peace was about to be disturbed.

“You go,” Austin mumbled as Teddy headed to the kitchen, his eyes once again fixed on the console in his hands.

“No, you. It’s my turn–”

“Is not.”

“Is too!”

“𝙆𝙞𝙙𝙨!” Teddy barked, his patience wearing thin. “Annie. 𝘕𝘰𝘸.”
fallincloversims.bsky.social
At long last, Teddy had their attention.

“What kinda pancakes?” Austin queried, finally tearing his eyes away from his game.

“Any kind. Bacon, maple syrup, blueberry, all three if–”

“Why?”

“Can’t we have a nice family breakfast on your sister’s birthday? G’on, get her, before I change my mind.”
fallincloversims.bsky.social
“She’s still– 𝘛𝘏𝘈𝘛 𝘖𝘕𝘌! 𝘊𝘈𝘛𝘊𝘏 𝘛𝘏𝘈𝘛 𝘖𝘕𝘌!”

“Still what?” Teddy asked, too content from his early morning activities to be frustrated by his kid’s behaviour.

“Still sleepin’,” Autumn muttered absentmindedly.

“Can one of you go get her? I’m gonna make us some pancakes.”
