Other than a few marketing tasks this morning, today was about resetting my goals for the next week.
I split my projects into 'starting rotation' and 'bullpen'. 1 project to focus on, & others to bring in when needed for relief appearances.

Since I took the first half of last week off from writing, and am using Wednesday as my goal reset day, I decided to write through the weekend. Made some progress Saturday, working on all the projects. Yesterday was mostly marketing. I've written 1000 words already today, on just 1 project.

Yesterday was pretty productive. I finished reworking a chapter for Triple Play, read through what I have writen for Around the Horn, and added another 800 words to Changeling. That's more than I wrote on that the last 2 months combined, so progress, yay!

After taking a few days off, I got back to my writing routine this morning. Finished adding a new scene to Triple Play. Was going to switch to adding new words to Around the Horn. Decided to read through what I had first, since I haven't working on it for a while. New words might wait until tomorrow

Yesterday was another rest day after the big 3 day challenge over the weekend. However I did get some plotting done on a few projects. Okay, so maybe I don't actually know the definition of 'rest'.

Over the weekend I participated in a #3day30k writing challenge. My goal was smaller. I planned to revise for 21 hours. I've never been great at math. Let's just say 7 hours of revisions is *a lot*. I managed 15 hours & almost 4500 new words for Triple Play. Still, I'm pretty happy with that.

Spent some time last night and this morning figuring out deadlines for my projects. I'll have 3 releases next years, 2 more early in 2027. I'm also hoping to get my Bookstore Cousins series out in '27. I'll work on drafting the final book and editing the rest among the other stuff for next year.

I grabbed some scenes from the first version I wrote of Triple Play because I was going to rework them into a prologue for the second version.
Well, I've written a little over 1k of that prologue, and not a single word has come from those scenes. It isn't finished yet, though. So, we'll see.

I have all the physical books ordered for my Kickstarter, which means now it's time to start getting the non-Kickstarter version(which basically just doesn't have the bonus short story included), ready to upload everywhere. And then Wrapped Up in Murder will officially be off my plate.
