I don't think I've explicitly mentioned this here, but the Mega-Pack updates will be released on October 23 (barring disaster).

I personally find the Mass Effect weapons kind of underwhelming, which is why for my most recent playthrough, I did some INI editing to bring them up to standard. Design-wise, though, they definitely do a lot in terms of production design. Those curved arcs and knucklebow trigger guards? 😙🤌

I admit, the silhouette is very similar, albeit unintentionally.

The Halligan is a unique Pulse Rifle, and a tribute to my most stalwart companion during my most recent Mass Effect playthrough. No, not Garrus or Tali, but my beloved M-96 Mattock. Modified to be full-auto, with a larger mag capacity and regenerating ammo.

I updated the timing on the sound effects for the Cluster Bomb missile, so that the extra explosions occur right as the artillery sound ends.

The 40mm Baton round is for players who take themselves too seriously to use the Punchline 🤣

I found a way to rework the Cluster Bomb Missile so that the submunitions spread out over a wider radius instead of just causing an overlapping series of explosions above the same point. The result is now much closer to what I had originally envisioned.

The RSh-9 allegedly also exists, which is the same as the 12, but literally chambered in 9x39.

The Torchlighter is a unique long-barreled hand cannon chambered in 7.92x36, and gives me serious "hero gun" vibes. Maybe I might even bump it up to 9x39, if I want to give the pseudo-VSS Vintorez its proper caliber.

The Cheetah Machine Pistol is my impression of the Gepard PDW. It can be modded with a suppressor, extended mags, and red-dot sight. I'm aware the real one has a bakelite/plastic grip, not plywood, but I had a hard time finding a bakelite texture in the vanilla game.

The Radskorpion is a unique Stinger Machine Pistol, modified with an improvised barrel attachment that drips radioactive material into the path of the bullet, allowing the gun to deal radiation damage with every shot.

The Stinger Machine Pistol is my take on the vz. 61 Skorpion, which you may know better as the "Klobb" if you spent a lot of time playing Goldeneye on the N64 back in the '90s. Also perfect for your Winter Soldier roleplays. It can be modded with a suppressor and an 80-round drum mag.

I added more greeblies to the Large-Bore Derringer, because it looked too plain. I included a cross-bolt safety, barrel release latch, and an extractor paddle on the barrel. I also gave it a new bird's head grip, to more closely mimic the look of the classic Remington Model 95.

The Large-Bore Derringer is a two-shot break-open holdout gun chambered in .45-70. Making up for limited ammo capacity with total grains downrange.

The NCR Ranger Salvaged Armor is based on that leaked photo we saw from Season 2 of the TV series that was hands-down the most popular thing we've seen, universally accepted by the fans, and which caused no controversy whatsoever. After all, New Vegas fans have a reputation for being super-chill...

This is probably the best place the stay updated. I always announce new releases here, as well as on Tumblr. The next update will be released on October 23.

If I recall correctly, you have to select the ammo, then Shift-Click the skeleton, then when both are selected, press Ctrl+P to parent.
fallout.firedrakecreative.com
Short version: In Object Mode, parent the ammo to the skeleton (Ctrl+P), then go into edit mode for the ammo, highlight all the vertices, and assign them to the relevant bones (In this case, the shoulders, I guess?) Again, I don't know how to do this very well, so I'm sorry I can't be more helpful.

90% of the time, when a piece of armor is invisible in the GECK, it means it wasn't rigged/weighted to the skeleton properly, so the game doesn't know what to do with it, and just doesn't render it. I don't know much about rigging and try to avoid it if possible, but I touch on it in my tutorial.
