My review of Expedition 33. Silksong and this game are my two of my favorite games of all time, and its so so so hard to choose between them for me. I'd rather just put them both on equal pedestals and call it a day.

Holy shit Expedition 33 is genuinely game of the decade, I almost cried at some points. I'm not even done with it yet so Its still got opportunities to break my heart again. Still not 100% liking its exploration and combat (due to preference), but holy fuck this is the best story ever put in a game.

I just finished Ace Combat 7. Wow, what a wonderful game. I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. The mission variety, cinematics, and music are top notch. While Project Wingman makes you feel like an unstoppable badass. AC7 made me feel like an angel with its orchestral music, felt like a hero.

true true, I like games that put me through Hell torture. Which is why Helldivers 2 is my favorite game of all time. I play that on Difficulty 10 all the time and I wish there was a Difficulty 11.

Yeah I think its because you are good at games. I also didn't really struggle on most bosses. Only the ones that were BS and unfair...

Ah don't worry, Silksong isnt for everyone and its okay to just not like a game. Maybe you can pick up the game again in the future and just play it at your own pace. I suspect the game might get a few patches to tune down the difficulty too, who knows...

Yeah well its okay to accept that a game's challenge just isn't for you. I didn't finish Celeste because I recognized I wasn't having fun with the insanely precise platforming challenges.

Played a bit more of Celeste, sorry but I really don't get this game. I'm not a huge fan of platformers, I've only finished like two of them. But the platforming mechanics in this game just don't resonate enough with me to make it fun. It was miserable.

I think now I realize the reason I liked Silksong more than Hollow Knight is because Silksong puts you under more stress more often. Does this just mean I'm a masochist gamer or something? My top games are mostly ones that are really hard or stressful lmao...
