A huge thank you to everyone who helped us in October - a month of giant swedes & gorgeous mini squashes! Thanks to our brilliant suppliers, volunteers, corporate partners and staff, we rescued 225.4 tonnes of surplus food from going to waste and redistributed it to 274 groups across #Manchester.

🍏In September, with the help and support of our brilliant volunteers, corporate partners and food suppliers, we were able to redistribute 183 tonnes of surplus food.
That included
🥦66 tonnes of veg
🍋17.9 tonnes of fruit
🍗4.7 tonnes of meat
🍽️Which equates to 436,000 meals supporting 271 charities.
