Adding to "these people really don't understand anything they pretend to be passionate about": Exhibit one million of people assuming that a writer in anime has orders of magnitude more decision power than they do. Forget the author's vetoing power, the director could stop anything before that check
We may be witnessing the dumbest controversy with Bocchi the Rock's series composer Erika Yoshida being attacked by the combined, stupid coalition of anti (made up) censorship warriors and adaptation purists who couldn't even spell the word Art if their life depended on it. Deeply embarrassing shit
