Somewhere in the W Bush years the idea of selling out became fine. My intuition tells me it happened when YouTube, FB, and other social media sites made it cool to make everything about yourself and try to make as much money as possible for doing the least amount of work.

Why is it whenever it's a white person (kid or not) with a gun, we always seem to ask "why," but we don't do it for any other situation? (Admittedly, this is rhetorical and there aren't that many situations where it isn't a white person from a "good family" etc. etc. etc.)
