At a new farmer-owned slaughterhouse co-op in Tennessee, farmers can have meat processed and ready to be sold in two weeks, and they share the plant's profits. This puts control of food back in the hands of the people, not corporations. See what a better food system looks like ➡️ buff.ly/slY6v3c

New reporting from NYT shows how the MAHA agenda is clashing with Big Food corporations and their endless pursuit of profits. We predicted this when the first MAHA report was unwilling to criticize corporate control over the food we eat.

At COP30, JBS is claiming to be a leader on climate solutions. In reality, JBS' methane emissions are higher than those of Shell & ExxonMobil. We must stand up to attempts to hide behind PR, just like we did when we sued Tyson to stop its "climate smart beef" claims.

We obtained documents from the USDA showing that they decided which programs to cut based on a handful of words. On the list were terms like “diversity,” “equity,” and “environmental justice” — things that MAGA can’t stand but are crucial for creating a just, sustainable food system.

Some poultry plants run by huge companies are failing USDA's standards for salmonella, & the USDA can't stop them from selling bad meat. Biden proposed a rule to change that, but Trump ended it to please Big Ag. Again, Big Ag dodges regulations to raise profits & passes risk to us.
