The concept of the 'deserving poor' is capitalist poison. Your worth isn't determined by how hard you fight or how much you suffer. My worth is non-negotiable. Aid isn't a reward for being a 'good' survivor; it’s a necessary tool for being an alive survivor. Solidarity disregards the purity test.

Criminals are often only criminals because those in power say the are. Look below the surface and you find their reasons for breaking the law are often caused by the people labeling them criminals, and those people are doing far worse to the people they end up labeling as criminals.

I had help previously but it wasn't working out and l've had to do a lot of it on my own, now I'm stuck in a situation where working isn't possible for my health and while I'm already caretaking for my disabled child that needs constant care. I did not ever envision this happening to me and have always worked hard to take care of my family but now I'm in what feels like an impossible situation trying my best to take care of my kids and myself so I can stay around for them as long as possible. Im not enjoying coming online asking for help but I have no where else to turn. I'm doing
