Really enjoying the process of this. It’s helping me get back into the swing of some things, which feels really great.

I was just never anything other than convenient. Convenient at first, then resentfully needed to get what she wanted.

The first image here was drawn in Procreate. But I wasn’t super happy with it. So I took it into Illustrator and decided to pay really close attention to the spacing around everything (and to lighten/brighten the yellow). I’m much more pleased with it now and have updated the shirts on TeePublic!

When you think of kindness as a concept, what visuals come to mind? Brainstorming for a project that feels…unfinished.

I grew up hella fundamentalist Christian (like covering my hair in church & not being able to teach, preach, or SPEAK), and I can’t tell you the depths of despair I feel at those fuckers having finally gotten the government as wholly as they do. I escaped only to see them win.

I feel so disconnected from everyone & everything. Struggling to connect in any meaningful way. The breakup, the country, the genocides, the world. I really understand, “eat, drink & be merry, for tomorrow we die.” I wanna say “hold each other close,” but how can I say that when I’m struggling to?

Really not enjoying the iOS Liquid Glass thing. I get the appeal, I guess, but it’s just distracting to me. In other news, old man yells at cloud.

Whenever I listen to Jason Mraz’s “I Won’t Give Up,” I feel tremendously guilty. It was Our Song. And I feel like a liar now. But I had to protect my peace.

I’ve noticed the measure feeling pretty decent whilst reading. And I love the lack of hyphenation. I’ve never been a big fan of having to carry a whole word across lines. Though I get the occasional necessity!
