Thancred being alive is important to me because frankly speaking I'm really tired of the characters I relate to dying. esp where we all thought he was going to bite it because that feels like a consequence for not grieving correctly and I HATE that shit because it happens CONSTANTLY

don't think the scions should die but they definitely need to not be in the story all the time and stop retconning like every consequence they've had to suffer. Thancred's eyepatch, Y'shtola siphoning her life to see, etc., etc.
