Just finished @stephenking.bsky.social’s THE OUTISDER - absolutely floored. I was gripped, moved to tears and enotionally wrecked by an ending which lands like a ten pound jack hammer. Best novel I’ve read all year.

I like Dunkirk a lot, but the writer has a point about scale - Nolan’s aversion the CGI made the evacuation and beach scenes smaller than by all accounts they were.

I don’t know if I’m ready to say I love it, and certainly I was in Team Hate until this morning. But after watching T3 and Salvation this week, and going in with palpable trepidation, I… had fun?! Honestly I don’t know what to make of the experience.
