ni hello my name is Joe, as many of you may know! i have a lifelong chronic disability called ulcerative pancolitis - it is an inflammatory bowel disease. with proper care and medication plans people with UC can have a pretty normal quality of life... but when things don't work out it can be a medical disaster, and very dangerous if left untreated.
symptoms differ from patient to patient. my recent flare started in early july, i was having very bloody stool, fatigue, and my whole body was in excruciating pain. i could barely stand up or get out of bed some days. so, i went to my care team and tried to get into recovery...

2 WEEKS TOTAL i spent inpatient at the hospital. after a few days of my initial treatment plan, my doctors urged me to go to the ER. turns out i was bleeding pretty severely internally. i was using the bathroom 15-20 times a day and only passing blood. they also discovered i have a completely separate issue, and diagnosed me with IIH (idiopathic intercranial hypertension), which causes me to have vision spots, dizziness and debilitating headaches. after two failed spinal taps they decided it was too much trauma for my body to handle, so that was being treated on the side.
after i had a flexsig (they were digging in my butt) they deduced i had extensive damage to the left part of my colon. i was actively shedding parts of it out into my stool. FUN! i was also dangerously anemic because of this, so a blood transfer was done. basically i was very sick and losing a lot of blood every day for weeks, and didn't even know it.
i was administered infliximab, a new-ish type of medication for UC and other autoimmune diseases, twice. so far i have been recovering well, but for two months i have been out of work, and thus without income because PMFLA sucks. not to mention i moved out of my apartment 1 day after my discharge SO.......

i’m asking for help to cover the cost of groceries, rideshares to my follow up appointments and many tests, and saving up for rent + other home necessities. i put this off forever because i wasn't expecting PMFLA to take so long to confirm that yes, i was extremely sick and couldn't work while pieces of my colon were coming out of my butt, but here we are!

Charmander (sunset form)
Fire type
- its flame burns much hotter than that of a normal charmander. Its colors make it especially mesmerizing to look at.
- it has a flap of skin growing from its neck and draping over its back, like a small cape! It must be sensitive, it doesn't like others touching it.

Mudkip (bath toy form)
Water type
- the glands around its neck produce a substance not unlike soap. It likes to play with the resulting foamy bubbles, like making 'hats' with it.
- it enjoys soaking in clear, warm water. If left in a dirty bathtub or sink, it'll use its natural soap and brush-like gills to make everything sparkling clean!

Chikorita (rose thorn form)
Grass/Poison type
- it constantly fiddles with its leaf in an attempt to style it, only for it to pop right back into it's original shape after a few moments, much to the chikorita's ire.
- the red spots on its neck are velvety soft to the touch, like rose petals. They say touching them without getting pricked by the nearby thorns is a good omen, but it probably just means the pokemon trusts you.

It has Serperior's long serpentine body, but with a thicker torso, making it somewhat lapras-like, and leaf-shaped fins. On its back is a large water hyacinth, a small mudkip sitting within. The regal air of the pokehybrid and throne-like flower seat implies the mudkip is perhaps, somewhat important, maybe even royalty.
