It’s hardly a great leap that when the lunatic in chief said that Iran weren’t to murder protesters, & then did absolutely nothing to stop it, that he would just be setting the scene for accelerating the same on the domestic front. It doesn’t stop it being utterly terrifying though.

I'm more than a little mystified by the showering of record nominations on Sinners. It was fine, and well acted, but also highly derivative. Unless it will be another Color Purple and actually win nothing 🤷♀️

Ooh, won't mention the establishment name, but not impressed on 1st visit to a new restaurant to be asked if I wanted the change back when paying. The change was 10% of the bill value - and service had been included on the bill ("service" was delivering 2 mains & drinks)

More than slight #ROTK ‘Oh god, is it still not finished?’ feeling of exasperation at the Strangers Things finale, as it kept going & going (& sampling the work of others). Not terrible but I’m convinced they were making it up/retrofitting as they went & badly needed an editor to rein them in

Interesting to hear about new ranges M&S & Morrisons have announced aimed at people on GLP1 jabs, nutrient-rich & full of fibre. Perhaps if they’d done that 20 yrs ago (& all the other shops that jump on that bandwagon), people wouldn’t be as fat & unused to consuming fibre & balanced whole foods 🤷🏼♀️
