I come over here whenever Twitter is down, which is more and more often, but something about this place is just off in a way I can't quite put my finger on. Twitter still has the Juice, for better or worse, even dying. It's like how Don Rickles could still murder people right up until the end.

Yes, this was literally my 20s in the early 00s lol. I now work a full time job for nearly three times as much money now to have about the same kind of lifestyle but with much less freetime and expendable cash.
20 years ago I knew a guy who worked part time, minimum wage, as a dishwasher.
He was able to afford rent and a car (both shitty but functional), concerts, weed, etc.
It's interesting to think of how that kind of dirtbag lifestyle is mostly just gone.

The Wicked musical is perfectly fine but the fact that it's so popular we'll probably never get an adaptation of the novel as written and especially not the (imo) even better sequel Son of a Witch makes me very sad.

Just found out about Ride the Cyclone from the new Wait in the Wings doc (I don't use TikTok because I am an Old) and great now this is all I'm gonna think about for like a month at least.
