Biking on sidewalks is fine imo as long as you're not a dick to pedestrians. Not being a dick to peds makes you very slow in urban areas, so I usually take the road/bike lane

AIPAC managed to hold onto it's bi/nonpartisan credentials for a decade longer than any other interest group but it's going to just become another arm of the GOP like the NRA

The idea that there's no productive economic opportunities in the 21st century seems...not correct. I think this piece gets causality backwards - growth will slow because we've let corruption go hog-wild, not the other way around

I think frequently about the scene in Billions where they all get high on nootropic stimulants and are convinced they're going to make the trades of their life. Then the square has to come in and tell them they're just idiots on drugs, not brilliant

Video games are somewhat ironically the only medium where the backlash to gambling worked, current f2p monetization models aren't great but they're not literal gambling (mostly) anymore
