If I had to guess there was some cost savings tech (digital distribution, better engines) combined with other revenue streams (mtx) combined with growing sales (games have no marginal cost) that led the price to be sticky

It's so grim to look at sales numbers for any game produced before and after COVID. Similar games from similar studios will have *drastically* lower sale

I think that's only a small part of it. The western consensus is that BMW was a solid but not exceptional game, whereas Chinese media (and rabid fans) consider it a generational game like Elden Ring

I think in many ways his Israel policy is a result of 80s/90s/early 2k brain which sees Israel as a bulkwark of the liberal order. I think the Biden admin is the only group to unironically believe "only democracy in the ME"
