So excited to see this piece out in Demography. We find that exposure to community-level homicides is associated with higher probabilities of contraceptive first use and provision.

This paper forms the basis of my ERC Starting Grant on how local violent crime affects SRH in Mexico. 🇲🇽 More to come!
