If #safc beat Everton (our next home game) I think we’ll be really up for you lot coming, but I can see us not being clever enough. ManU showed us we can be caught out easily. But I’ll happily beat the Wolves, Forests and West Hams and lose to you because we’ll stay up if we do that!

Agree - the fact that we managed to get in our targets ahead of you looks like it will pay back in multiples right now. I think you might stay up still, some basket cases in the league still. It’s a long season though.

If he cleared our debts then he left us with more money, by definition. No use leaving us with cash in the bank if he leaves and we have to use it to pay off debt. Short didn’t need to pay our debts. He did the right thing and I’m grateful to him.

Glad someone said it. The difference between the two teams (other than goals) was that Regis had a plan B
And knew how to play to frustrate and ultimately beat Coventry. Lampard didn’t. He had one plan, one way to play and didn’t know how to change it to win.
