I have had a horrible time with projects falling through or really difficult clients lately- I wonder if something's in the air. Quite disheartening. I think it might be the atmosphere as a whole, but not sure. You're not alone, though some comfort that is!!!

It's so insidious, once you have your eyes open to what "rape culture" /really/ means, it's just everywhere. I often forget that many people live quite oblivious to it.

There are so many good novels from every decade out there that aren't Like That and yet they just don't have the same world shifting popularity, makes a person wonder.
