On one hand, I’m frustrated by the admin’s mismanagement of air travel, with cancellations now affecting 10% of flights.
On the other hand, the environmentalist in me recognizes that fewer flights and reduced airport traffic contribute to lower emissions. Cognitive dissonance at its finest.

Recently learned that Google is one of the largest real estate holders in NYC (they paid $2.4bn for Chelsea Market, for example).
Expect Google search results for Zohran to display disparaging top results for him during his time as NYC mayor.

We're in the middle of the worst employment crash since 2008 and the Trump regime is actively suppressing any data to verify it.

Not only are SNAP benefits not being paid, but people who recently lost jobs can't even apply for it.

Meanwhile, the stock market continues to hover around record highs.

It’s sending a dangerous message that politics should be part of military service.
Various images of US military generals and admirals in their dress uniforms. Other officers fell out of favor after being targeted on social media by right-wing influencers or because they had voiced support years earlier for diversity, equity and inclusion programs. Rear Adm. Milton Sands, the commander of the Navy SEALs, who pushed to have female instructors in SEAL training, was fired by Mr. Hegseth in August. Some leaders were ousted for offering candid military assessments. Mr. Hegseth soured on Adm. Alvin Holsey, the head of U.S. Southern Command, after he raised questions about deadly military strikes on boats in the Caribbean Sea. The Trump administration has said, without offering detailed evidence, that the boats were trafficking drugs. Admiral Holsey abruptly announced last month that he was stepping down, less than one year into what is typically a three-year assignment. "The message being sent to those younger soldiers and sailors and airmen and Marines is that politics can and should be part of your military service," said Representative Jason Crow, Democrat of Colorado and a former Army Ranger. "It's a dangerous message."
