I saw Werner Herzog speak last night about truth, cinema and other profound wisdom. It's the subject of his new book and definitely feeds his two upcoming films. The man simultaneously inspires and makes you feel lazy. I feel motivated.

Definitely one of Del Toro's best films. The film's heart and its stunning visuals are balanced much better here. Jacob Elordi is phenomenal and the make up effects by Mike Hill are macabre elegance.
