I think it's not so much that boomers are conscious of being neglected but that so little effort is going into engaging them. An opportunity which is being overlooked IMHO. (And 40-somethings spend a fair bit of time on their phones!)

Entirely. Some days you just grab whatever you have to hand. Others you have friends round and want to drink something that goes with what you've cooked (or cook something that goes with the bottle you want to open). But the latter requires a bit more thought than the former 😉
