The way Penny Larceny's social and political commentary has (unfortunately) aged like wine is equal parts impressive and maddening. Also the writing is sharp and the characters are an absolute joy.

We don't use AI to make our games. Anywhere. Not concepts, not prototypes, not placeholders. It's not that hard to just copy and paste the word "placeholder" several times or drop in a stick figure or orange square, but apparently that's too much effort for a multimillion dollar studio.

Are we good at social media? Nope! Are we handing over the keys to a sketchy weirdo with a 5K PDF file? Nope.
Me messing around with a spammer asking him for help while using cosmic horror nonsense. More of that, but I also gave him the names of some fake social platforms and ask for a six digit access code. The guy seems to be catching on but keeps asking me to continue. I finally tell him that this is obviously a scam and I'm not going to fall for it and he needs to go the hell away.

I'm getting into solo RPGs. My disability makes me take frequent breaks; scheduled group play's difficult.

But I couldn't find one which focused on what I like: rules-lite, locale-specific, modern setting, ongoing concerns rather than quests and looting. So, I'm making my own: "The City Unseen."
