Here, have the first 250 words of my attempt at a 75k+ A/B/O fic. I really hope it's ok, I don't have a beta reader 😖

There’s an omega about to go into heat somewhere in the same subway car Jayce just so happens to be in. It’s a problem.
It’s a problem because the cinnamon and anise scent, mixed with a hint of copper, is driving Jayce insane. He’s desperately trying to hide the half-chub forming in his slacks as he hunts the scent down to make sure the other person is safe, which doesn’t take long with all the alphas turning their heads and drooling like mutts. He pushes through the crowd, getting nasty stares as he goes, but eventually he reaches the source. The omega is sitting on a bench by the window, fair ivory skin seemingly glowing in the sunlight as he reads a book completely unbothered by the alphas surrounding him. Jayce is immediately mesmorized. Soft coifs of dark brown hair that frame his face perfectly, the sharp angles that make him look like a model, his amber eyes, gooey like warm honey. The smell is much stronger this close to the source and he realizes the other man smells like a fresh sweetmilk latte on a lab table. The omega is beautiful, and Jayce doesn’t understand why he’s not at home being doted on by an alpha this close to his heat, surely he has several at his disposal.
Jayce chuffs quietly to himself when he realizes he’s worked himself up, now sporting a full-on erection in the middle of his commute home
