The Rwanda genocide of the early 1990s was fueled by misinformation on talk radio.

Just something to keep in mind as the trump crowd consolidates media control.
Peyton Manning is reminding me of Glenn Youngkin, both in appearance and in fakeness.

"Exposing" trump as a Russian asset is like "exposing" pro wrestling as scripted.

Remember how we got scolded by Very Serious Pundits when we told the truth about Charlie Kirk after he died? When we were lectured that our failure to Mourn Him The Right Way would ruin everything and lift trump up to record levels of popularity?

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Republicans are such chickenshit cowards.

Nancy Pelosi offered them TWO chances to shake off this asshole for good. They passed both up so they could be trod upon some more.

And now they're whimpering.

Get these losers off my face.
Rumor is even GOP House members are sick of being treated like potted plants, with many more threatening early departure.

The Republicans' vaccine, Medicaid and ACA policies have sacrificed plenty of children.
VP JD Vance stood before a crowd and tried to falsify history, claiming Christians ended widespread mass child-sacrifice practices among Native Americans

Irritating and frustrating as the Democrats are, they're yet to reach Labour's levels of self-immolation.
I say this al the time, but it's really insane how the UK has worse politics than the US

We are so bad and yet they always seem to beat us

Russia has given us some great art and literature, and the occasional scientific breakthrough that wasn't ripped off from the West.

Besides that, Russia has been a pox on humanity. And continues to be.

Democracy is girly.

Dictatorship is manly.

That's how the right-wing mind works. It's really not much more complicated than that. They never evolved past junior high.

The administration is going to milk this shooting all it can, like it did with Charlie Kirk.

If a magat comes frothing at you about it, tell them this would have never happened had trump complied with the recent court order.
November 27, 2025 at 2:39 PM
It's only a matter of time before they slip up and announce deaths even before the incident happens.
How insane is it that the Governor of West Virginia issued an official statement that the two Guardsmen were dead yesterday when they weren't?

Why POC collectively hold our breath when there’s a mass shooting or high profile crime before the suspect is even identified:

• Afghan man shoots a National Guard member:
With zero knowledge of the background or motive, the right screams that Muslims are terrorists and must be deported.

This is their fourth or fifth attempt at a Reichstag fire. They've been too incompetent to have one stick yet.
Does anyone else wonder if Trump is behind the shooting of the two National Guard troops?

The shooting does offer him some level of pretext to flood DC with more troops.

If trump had obeyed the court order, those two Guardsmen would be enjoying Thanksgiving with their families tomorrow.

While this administration is renaming agencies, the CDC might soon become the CDP -- Centers for Disease Propagation.

Blind faith in your leaders can get you killed.
The National Guard shooting in DC is a tragedy, especially when you consider that there’s ZERO reason for them to be there.
November 26, 2025 at 11:18 PM
The WV governor will now have to live with the fact that he sent two National Guardsmen to their deaths for no reason at all. For the rest of his life.

National Guard Shooting in DC. Two guardsmen were shot just days after a judge ruled that the deployment of the National Guard into Washington DC was unlawful. But for some reason, they were still there being exploited as political pawns. These men may die because the president ignored a court order

I will assume that the NG shootings today were a false-flag attack perpetrated by the administration to change the subject from all the bad news plaguing trump.

That's the default until proven otherwise. This White House has lost all benefit of the doubt.

If a Democrat uses the word "woke" unironically, he or she is already tumbling into Republican framing, and has already conceded the debate.

Such Dems are not worth your time and attention.

Russia/USSR has been one of the world's most dysfunctional countries for over a century, if not longer.

You've got to be pretty far gone to think it was EVER some sort of model to emulate, no matter how much propaganda they pour into the West.
November 26, 2025 at 5:54 PM
Trump hasn't been 25thed yet, which means they don't have a clean succession plan worked out.

So if he were to drop dead suddenly, things could get exciting.

Pete Hesgeth just oozes the patheticity of a person chasing a level of fake "manliness" that exists only in comic books. He's a perfect fit for this administration.

Simple question that has never been satisfactorily answered:

Why would anyone be intimidated by Donald Trump?
November 26, 2025 at 3:20 PM
Witkoff-Dmitriev is Molotov-Ribbentrop, the sequel.
“.. the Witkoff-Dmitriev plan” demands that a substantial share of $300 billion of frozen Russian state assets “be carved up between Washington and Moscow .. This has apparently disappeared from subsequent versions, but there’s no mistaking the intent.”
