Promo masks for the underrated Steve Martin/Eddie Murphy comedy

BOWFINGER (1999).

These were given out at preview screenings the distributor held for rental store managers. They were to hold them up so it’d look like the whole cinema was just Eddies and Steves for a photo. 🤪😂

I mean, there are still so many people out there that don’t realise that Obamacare and the Affordable Care Act are the same thing. They’re doomed.

Julie Newmar. Love her...always have...THE ORIGINAL Catwoman!

I was fortunate to have worked with her 30 years ago (on To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar). She was and is spectacular.

SCARFACE (1983)

Tony Montana uses "yeyo" as slang for cocaine. Al Pacino learned the word while learning the Cuban accent, and ad-libbed it during the chainsaw scene. Brian De Palma liked it enough to keep using it throughout the film.

Gorgeous panelling, fabulous wallpaper (French block printed from 1832 called 'Decor Chinois' by Zuber+Cie) in this angled attic bedroom at the historical Beauport House, Gloucester, Massachusetts. It was the summer home of one of America's first professional interior designers, Henry Davis Sleeper.

Bill Forsyth’s films are chronically undervalued. They are too sad to be funny & too funny to be sad.

This one in particular is one of those films where you feel like virtually nothing happens but when it ends you can't shake the feeling of 'what just happened to me...?'.

COMFORT & JOY (1984).

One day in 1839, Robert Cornelius sat for 15 minutes in front of a hand-built camera made of opera glass and sheets of copper. His picture became the first “selfie” ever taken.

And he looks like my mate, the actor David Morrissey! @davidmorrissey.bsky.social are you an actual time traveller?? 🤪😂

…Then they made him President and he gassed and tortured tens of thousands of his own people.

Ever wondered how the person you work next to would change if he/she was given unchecked power?
