🇪🇺 Just days before #COP30, EU climate ministers agreed a 2040 target of –90 % vs 1990 levels — but with loopholes allowing up to 10 % offsets abroad.

That means Europe will only cut ~85 % at home, paying others to decarbonise on its behalf.
