The art of competitive pricing is reading between the lines of market signals to identify unmet customer needs. The science is systematically analyzing data patterns that reveal what customers actually value versus what they say they value.
According to a comprehensive survey by OpenView Partners analyzing 2,200 SaaS companies, only 6% have conducted sophisticated pricing research on buyer needs and willingness to pay, while 48% haven't done any pricing research at all.

I'm doing applied quantitative finance. It's like a data science model that can be used for business. Very niche analytics in B2B.
Anyone with at least one completed project under their belt who understands the time investment
Any tools or sites #founders out there can rec for a good pitch deck maker? #startups
How do you make a game complex but also accessible at the same time? I think it's important for these games to be simple with their core mechanics.

You can update the game to add complexity over time. However, if you take that approach you lose something with each iteration. It comes with a cost.
Emails these days:

For #SaaS owners and #startup #founders out there: how are you pricing your product without leaving money on the table? How are you staying competitive without engaging in undercutting?
Question for more seasoned #Unity #gamedev

I have an event driven architecture, manager and service layer with interconnected interfaces that subscribe to one another.

How do I keep the event object system scoped and avoid over-engineering?
I've been making some progress on my indie game development. Still aiming for full unit test coverage before any UI gets added. Most of the game systems are complete.

When customers have different willingness-to-pay thresholds, uniform pricing leaves money on both ends of the curve.

Cost of doing business or a solveable problem?
Thanks for your interest! I'd be happy to discuss how we can collaborate on this. DM me for further details!
I'm looking for a few #buildinpublic (ideally #saas) folks who would like a free audit of their current pricing strategy
Make it: "All your knowledge, all in one place. Documentation done right" --> "Infinitely accessible, perfectly organized"
For any #saas owners out there: Likely you're focused on optimizing your app's performance, UI/UX and even marketing campaigns.

You're probably running a tight ship and getting traction.

But if you're just guessing about pricing, you're still operating suboptimally.
There is always an optimal price point and usually undercutting is not a long term solution.

When you find yourself needing to undercut for more than a pilot program, you're not running a sustainable business.
In price modeling, dealing with market manipulation is key. But how do you spot it?

Large players will try to shift supply and demand in their favor by buying up all the supply or shorting all demand.

How well can you identify the difference? Can you spot engineered price levels?
