it's a shame, because I watched it first hand. I was born and raised in puerto rico but my siblings were born and raised in the states and my mother just never bothered to speak to them in spanish, ever. It's not their fault, it's just sucks that it happens at all

My retail jobs, (actually including my current job), latino customers would walk up to my tanner coworkers asking them things in spanish, and they would have to direct them to me, the pale ghostly puertorican that they thought only spoke english. The looks on their faces
