A little Bluesky intro from me - I'm an author & illustrator of picture books, with a background in animation.
'Little Lion Girl' by @oliviahopewriter.bsky.social and 'Silver Linings' are my latest books.
I enjoy sending out occasional Substacks in the form of The Woodcock Dispatch (link👆in bio 👀)
Little Lion Girl cover by Olivia Hope and Fiona Woodcock. A happy blond curly haired girl wearing a lion tail and a lion ear hairband runs along, creating a shadow on an orange brick wall that resembles a large roaring lion. Fiona Woodcock - a white woman with dark hair is holding a copy of her book Silver Linings. The book cover has an illustration of a white girl character in a blue raincoat and a black boy character in an orange raincoat.

Libraries are so important for ALL children to have access to. Yet Lambeth council are about to cut £1M from the budgets of the libraries in their borough.
We need your help to STOP this.

I wrote an open letter to the council to try and get them to see the error of their decision.
Please repost.
