I've stopped being bullish on any project's airdrops, because they always lead to unmet expectations.

So I've switched my approach to look for apps that I enjoy using and help me make money.

Placing too much expectations on an airdrop (like Scroll) causes me to burn out.

Just 9 matches will be considered in the latest @footballdotfun tournament.

With just the French and Italian leagues this round, I added Lautaro to my squad and hope to hit the 5 player requirement to qualify for Tournament Points.

As usual, hardware wallet users always lose out.

Not that it matters anyway, since I'm skipping the MetaMask Rewards program (I only have 250 retro points lol).

Point programs with known criteria will be overdiluted, and I'm happy to avoid burning fees mindlessly.

But since I'll be earning $500 from their $5k deposit campaign, I decided to purchase it now and mint my Warplet.

CT has become a noisy bazaar with dopamine-driven content that preys on engagement.

So the real value comes from accounts that write long-form:

Their perspectives help to navigate the sea of noise through clearly articulated thoughts.

Finding these accounts takes effort.

I got lucky with this Abstract badge because I don't usually sign up for waitlists.

I'm not making the same mistake again for Aerodrome.

I didn't vote for the SYND/WETH pool because of the low vAPR, but will allocate all my veAERO votes to LITKEY.

My votes are not high, but I hope to make back some of my initial capital with this launch.

A good reminder of why we can't rely on the algorithm to serve our content to our audience:

One bug or change could destroy our views.

Follower count doesn't matter now, and my aim is to become algo-resistant:

Make my content so good that others will actively seek it out.

The worst airdrops are those that use point systems with known criteria.

They invite farmers to extract all the value and overdilute everyone's allocations.

That's why I prefer retroactive airdrops, where no one knows the criteria until the announcement.

Why I failed with the Scroll airdrop:

I knew that I couldn't compete with whales for Marks, and went all in for Badges to compensate.

But these badges barely made a difference and I was too busy grinding projects that I would never use again.

Avoid actions that burn you out.

Ethos scores will be less gameable with this change:

Our score needs to match the actual influence we have (based on our social graph), so getting everyone to spam positive views won’t work.
