This is the definitive point by Chris Hedges, re: Noam Chomsky and Epstein. Chomsky's entire value as a public intellectual is to know what people like Epstein are up to and why. Him feigning ignorance is absurd, and if it were true it would undermine the rest of his career.

This entire wave of "protection" for kids is not for kids, of course, it's for parents. People like to assume that's the same thing, but sadly it isn't.
