Share your knowledge if/when you can. Teaching other people how to do what you do doesn’t lessen your art - it just means more and better art for everyone.

I appreciate when people are willing to tell me about their brushes, how they study, etc… I want to put that back out into the world.

I always loved drawing as a kid, but was told being an indie artist isn't a solid career path due to commission fluctuation. 🙄 Went hard into "business" art and got my graphic design certs in high school.
Was always instructed to get a degree so I could be "secure" financially, but with those -
