👋 Hello, #intro post time for me! I'm Lindsay, I'm a #cartoonist who grew up when the internet was still a bit clunky. I learned websites in middle school specifically so I could put comics & art on them! 🎉

When I'm not making #comics, I #crochet including making my own designs. 🧶

It’s Scruffy Pup! Behind Scruffy Pup, sliding upside-down with her long tongue hanging out, is a pug puppy with a purple cape and a gold-and-red crown on her head. This is Pug Pup! There’s a giant land below the Princess Pups dotted with a river, a giant angry looking warthog, trees, several goats and some cats wearing hats that look like trouble. In the sky near the Princess Pups’ rainbow is their castle with a domed middle and two tall towers on either side. Funny little blue cloud people float nearby and wave as the pups slide down

This is Cruiser. He's trained as a Community Resource Dog in Wrentham, Massachusetts. Last week he helped locate a missing elderly resident with dementia who had wandered away from home. For a job well done, Cruiser was rewarded with a hamburger. 14/10 (IG: officer_cruiser)

3. Replace last panel with one that you or your pal makes up! Keep the original last panel a secret and see who got the closest.

2. Cut out panels and rearrange them to make up a new story or gag! This one depends on if it's a comic strip or if you're using pages from a comic book or graphic novel.

1. Remove or erase word balloon text. Create your own dialogue instead! This is also great if you're helping a kiddo practice their writing skills.

Anyhow, here's a portion of the redrawn pages, showing how I transformed that hulking Kirby vacuum model into the grouchy King Vacuum who detests parties! (He has no interest in pet grooming, I assure you)

Also, apparently there were "Convenience Group Attachments" that I never saw before! Including: a portable shoulder strap (this machine was NEVER portable) and...a massage cup that doubled for pet grooming?!

Our cats would have destroyed us if we attempted that. 🙀

We had that vacuum FOREVER cuz it was built like a tank. Kirby points out in their owner's guide about having a lifetime of service with it. A lifetime of "dang this thing's so heavy!" service. (PS: Our household wasn't known for reading directions, so this is the first time I've seen this manual)
