i love when tintin characters walk directly on the bottom border of a panel. it can be tricky/is a bit of a tangent but tends to work best either completely flat, or with three point perspective (i’ll usually use a low camera pointing upward, with the horizon line matching the panel gutter.)

i have heard genndy tartakovsky generally tries to avoid portraying the sky as blue in his shows, and for a guy who has loaded up my brain with eye-opening stylistic choices over the years, that might be the most eye-opening

posting this to remind myself of the get a life marathon next week! they’re finally releasing it on physical media with all the original music intact too. quite possibly the best sitcom ever made (if you’re me), i can’t believe this aired on fox.
