So maybe I’ve given up a tiny measure of perspicacity with my odd hours. I feel a little less “on top of things” but I’ve exchanged it for better mental health and a more relaxed work schedule.

I had perspicacity to spare anyhow. 😉

I love working overnights right now.. any meeting I need to attend is 7:30am right before I leave and there’s a hard-out for 8am. If it runs long, enjoy your work day! 🚴‍♂️

I bought a slab of ribs to cook on Friday when I’m off and I’m unreasonably excited about it, haha.

Got a new BBQ sauce to try on them and I can’t picture a world where this isn’t amazing together.

My manager is feeling touchy. 😂. He calls me and says “An employee is changing the schedule I made. You go to your unit every night - that’s yours. If you’re in the building I want you there. If anyone BUT the overnight manager changes it, please call me at 11:30 when you get in.”

Left to ride to work at 11 last night.. 60 seconds before the clouds opened up. 😂

Got here completely soaked, like SOAKED with a bucket wet. Now it’s 6:45am and I’m finally dry.

It is still raining though, so I’ll leave here in an hour and be soaked yet again. 💧☔️🌧️⛈️
