Unfortunately a ton of new books we pick up as collectors suffer from waviness due to highly saturated inks!
Pressing this out will never result in a grade bump (apparently CGC doesn’t take issue with waviness in modern books) but it sure looks better!!!

I kept the approach simple and conservative on this one. I gave the cover a gentle dry clean with document powder before a tiny bit of steam and a hot press at 165°C. The results are subtle, but I estimate a grade bump from 8.0 to 9.0 here.
