I have not done anything to verify this, but it seems believable. That exceeds FN's basic requirement. No wonder they could afford over $700 million in settlements they don't have to spend much on gathering information.

Mike Johnson pushed through a bill that will offer $300 billion ($5/bbl) in subsidies for drilling in Alaska. He then did an interview where he said that if the government subsidizes something it's not working.
Think about it.

Even if you want to stock up for the coming economic disruption, the steel in can-goods has gone up in price. Even if the food inside is going down in price. Plastic packaging is going to get more expensive now that we're not building any new polymer plants in Texas.

Noone in maga knows what numbers are. July was the best month ever at $28 billion in tariffs. Up from $7.8 billion in July 2024. Assuming the whole year goes the same, that would mean we would collect $240 billion more than last year. The BBB projected $300 billion to leave 300 billion deficit.

It's time to start adding more business to the requirements of continuing the budget. Require Mike Johnson to swear in new members, put releasing the Epstein files to a vote, clarify presidential use of national guard without Congress okay. Every week the Republicans refuse, add something.
