Something fun about Lemonade is the markings on his head! When Lemonade first joined our family a few years ago, he had black lines almost all the way up his head. Now the lines are slowly receding and begin above his eyes.

Topic 2: Lemonade is given fresh food and water every day. He gets a cleaned cage, millet and cuttle bone every week. His beak grows abnormally fast, so he takes an adventure to the vet every six weeks for a quick trim. As the weather warms, we will see Lemonade molt and grow his new feathers.

Topic 1 pt2: I chose to make Lemonade my class pet because he is an exciting and unique animal. I look forward to watching Lemonade grow and his personality evolve.
