To start an engine, compressed air comes from the APU or from an external source if the APU’s down.
Unique to the 777-300ER: it needs two air starter units instead of one to deliver enough airflow. 💨

The Airbus A350-900 has the widest wings in our Airbus fleet: 64.75 m.
For comparison: both the A330 and A340 span 60.3 m.
That extra span gives the A350 more lift and efficiency for long-haul flights. ✈️📏
